Frequently Asked Floral Questions

We are here to answer all of your floral questions! We know that the floral world is really ambiguous and there are lots of questions throughout the process. Here are a few that we hear quite often!

Are Peonies Available…

Listen, we too wish that peonies were available all year round! They have a very short season locally and we snatch as many as we can from all our wonderful local farms! Sometimes we are able to source them from around the world but the cost increases significantly. All that said, if you are wanting them, we will do everything we can to source them for you!

Can I schedule a consultation…

Before we initially meet, we like to gather as much information as we can about your wedding day, your floral vision and your budget. That way we can be prepared to discuss different design options and help guide you through the process. We have a quick questionnaire that we will send to you and from there we will present the best options and schedule an initial consultation.

What if I don’t want roses…

We totally understand however sometimes depending on your color palette they might just be the perfect fit! Roses have one of the widest varieties of color hues. If you are looking for hues of brown, taupe, champagne, dusty rose or mauve (etc!) there are very few blooms that actually come in these colors. We would be happy to discuss the possibilities with you, but we also might love to show you some really beautiful, garden style roses to compliment your colors!

What if I want local flowers…

We LOVE our local farms! We have great partnerships with several local farmers and order as much as we can through them. There are times when we are not able to source locally, whether it is due to seasons, weather, availability or types of blooms. We are always up front and honest about what we source and as we get closer to your wedding date, we get a much clearer picture on what to expect.

How far out should we book a florist…

As soon as you have booked a venue and solidified your date start looking into other venders! Florists book up quickly and can only take so many events a weekend. Definitely reach out as soon as you can, it takes time to build your proposal and find the perfect designs to fit your vision and budget.

What all does our team handle onsite…

Can I order loose stems…

Our team will handle all floral installation and setup! If your event requires it, we also provide strike services where we will return the following day to clean up all the floral. We don’t provide any other setup or tear down services beyond the items that we are bringing.

What is the average cost for wedding flowers…

The average cost really varies depending on the style and density you are looking for in the flowers. On average a bridal bouquet costs anywhere from $295-$400, ceremony designs can range from $450-$4,000. There are a lot of factors that shape floral budgets, guest count and table count is one of the biggest factors when it comes to reception costs. Our team will work with you and your budget and make suggestions so you can get the most out of your budget!
