Habitat Floral Studio and Events is a woman-owned flower shop and event business that has been providing Montana with exquisite and innovative floral design and event planning services since 2004. Whether you need a charming daily flower bouquet or assistance planning a flawless and unforgettable event the Habitat team will be there to provide unwavering service and creative expertise.
Our flower shop is located in the heart of downtown Missoula and offers beautiful seasonal flower arrangements, fun unique plants and curated gifts. We love to use each season’s most beautiful blooms and design with locally sourced and foraged flowers as much as possible from all the amazing flower farms in Montana!
Our floral studio hand crafts each and every arrangement with love by our designers! Our flower arrangements, bouquets, and seasonal wreaths are a timeless and classic gift for anyone. Our Missoula flower shop delivers daily flowers, Mother’s Day flowers, Valentine’s Day, holiday, anniversary flowers and beyond!
Our flower shop also specializes in weddings and events! Through years of designing beautiful wedding flowers across Montana and beyond, we have curated two wonderful floral packages to fit any couple’s vision! Our team as offers decorative rentals from tabletop to lounge furniture!
Jennifer Horsley: Owner and Creative Director
Jennifer’s long time passion for flowers and design led to the creation of Habitat. After completing advanced studies at the Floral Design Institute she moved to Missoula, Montana and opened Habitat’s doors. Her distinctive style blends modernity and romanticism to create breathtaking arrangements. She takes inspiration from fashion, art, and her clients own unique vision to create custom designs. Her meticulous attention to detail has made her a favorite of Montana brides as well as recipients of her everyday bouquets.
Favorite flowers: roses (we source the most beautiful ones!), lily of the valley, clematis, tweedia and sweet peas - all the romantic blooms!
Miss Ellie: Security
Hi my name is Miss Ellie, I am a little outspoken. My duties include head of security, lap warmer, and unofficial dust mop. When I am not taking a nap on my bed (a girl needs her beauty sleep!) you will find me in the window enjoying the sunshine and watching the world go by.
Miss E’s favorite flower: a cozy box of hydrangea to take a nap in!
We sadly said goodbye to our sweet girl in March 2023. She was incredibly loved and adored at Habitat and made every day so much better. Miss Ellie was one of a kind and will forever be in our hearts and will forever be our littlest Habitat mascot.
Katelynn: Floral Director and Wedding Designer
If you have ever come in or called the shop, chances are you have met Katelynn!
Katelynn is our wedding floral director and production manager of the shop. She puts her heart and soul into every one of our weddings and daily floral arrangements!
She loves designing bridal bouquets and putting so much thought and love into each one as they are all personally made for each of our beautiful brides on their most special day.
Her favorite flowers include roses (of course!), hellebore, clematis, tulips and ranunculus.
